Did you know?

Did you know that OSCA recites the Pledge of Allegiance and prays together each morning?

To get a good start to our day, the 2nd-3rd grade class greets staff on the intercom system, and students lead the Pledge of Allegiance. They then help us sing the Star Spangled Banner. Next we pray for the students, teachers and families of OSCA. Our 2nd-3rd graders learn public speaking skills, and the younger students learn how to honor and respect the United States' flag. Morning announcements help each of us focus on who is most important, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We have earned our November PJ party – we will wear PJ’s on Dec 14th!!

December Challenge: 20 points for each student 120 points for the class

*I know this is smaller than previous goals but I wanted to give students the option of completing this goal by next Friday 12/14 if they wanted to.

The class will earn a toy party if we reach their goal.
Students earn points by reading books. If they read a book, they receive 2 points, if you read a book to them, they earn 1 point. We will be keeping track of their progress on a graph in our room.
